Clarens, aptly named the Jewel of the Eastern Free State, is a stone's throw from the estate's main entrance.
In a nutshell, Clarens is sandstone buildings and leafy streets, Saturday markets, award-winning restaurants, more than twenty galleries within walking distance of the square and a wonderfully laid-back, artsy atmosphere.
